I'm trying with the witcher, and it's obviously got the right motives, but the writing is just... well, bad. Suffers from the same translation problems as usual - sub standard dialogue, conversations that frequently don't flow, and so on. Am afraid I can't recommend this game as highly as everyone e...

One of my main FO3 worries is the lack of moral ambiguity. So far it seems everything is good or evil or neutral, where neutral = 'shades of grey'. Whereas to me, shades of grey means that choice X could be evil but could be good - has consequences that go in both directions.

Maybe it's the impression I get reading the posts on the forums. There's only so much cynicism I can take. NMA's FO3 preview was pretty good in that respect, highlighting positive along with the negative. And to be fair, you did talk about the choice and consequence. It's just, I dunno, a general vi...

The Codex is pretty much as biased as the previews they're mocking, except the other way.

I used to upgrade once a year, two at the most. But now, there's so little to play...

Incidentally, did you get the full version? It's about 20 minutes long, it's uploaded on DAC somewhere. I gave the link out months ago in a thread about the music somewhere...

real. It took a chunk out of my savings - and when i've got the money, there's plenty more expensive ones to look at - but it's the sort of thing I think's worth it.

it is a everything is going well personal thread instead of a link to a youtube video with no description or a news report about a black man. it goes against everything dac stands for.

I'm here!

I've moved into a new flat, and I've got a piano on the way but it's not here yet, so no new music for a while.

Plus I'm working on something else right now that, hopefully, you'll all get to see in time.

But I'm flattered by this thread :) Where's psychosniper15 when you need him?

I still think blinding someone gives rise to lots of tactical possibilities and nice variation in combat. Some weapons would gib them, but, say in melee combat, a lunge for the eyes wouldn't make the head all explodered.

I don't think id's nearly as good at making games as they are at making engines. Let's see if this proves me wrong.

Didnt stop me before, at most it'll just maek me troll more. No one's that bothered about it, really. If an admin did, they'd start doing the IP bans and all that fun. It just seems a bit of a pointless existence, to me at least, pretending you enjoy being disliked on a forum that's growing increas...

I don't think anyone's outright banned him yet. I'll leave that decision to KoC, but yeah, just constantly deleting him til he gets the message might be the way forward.

To psychosniper: if you calmed down a bit and thought a bit more before posting, things might be better.

I think you're being overly negative. I dislike the way the PR's being done, but the game itself -the info we've gotten, at least - is equal good and bad, really.

The armours look pretty similar. I guess it was my worry that the BOS will have a prominent role to play in the game, when they've always been guardians in the bakcground, and not really a major part in the game - FO1 especially. Seeing a badass soldier splashed on all the media stuff concerns me in...
