Omg, yay!
Score!
So here goes: before I went to the states, I packed up all of my stuff and moved it to a friend's place at the other end of the country, where I rent a room faitly cheap. So, since I've gotten back, I've been walking around with a feeling of nothing to do - I've been restless and annoyed and unable to sleep, basically because of financial problems and the fact that I had nothing to do. So, to the good news: Within the last three days, I've managed to find a job, starting Monday, and have also been accepted into the local university on Political Science. Omg, yay! So things are looking much brighter and I'm a happy little camper right now. So, I'm going to get really drunk tonight, throw up on some people, sleep it off tomorrow and start work all fresh anew. Wish me luck, DAC.

Good luck, congratulations on your fortune, and don't forget to preach the word of the lord at your new place of employ.

Good for you Tingeltangel =)
Best of luck to you.
I didn't even have a tv when I moved into my apartment.
Best of luck to you.
First time, eh? happens to all of us, at least if you don't have a lot of furniture or not much to do.Megatron wrote:I have also moved out, yesterday. But I forgot vital things such as scissors and trainers and something that makes noise. I ate a tin of tuna out of the can then just stared at the wall for a bit and listened to the clock tick. It was a pretty wacky scene even by my standards.

Thanks, Koki, I love you too man.Koki wrote:Worst thread of 2007.
For all the others: moving out on my own I did a long, long time ago. Since then I've been moving from place to place, but I've not experienced the entire "oh, so, I live on my own now - what should I do now?" feeling since the beginning of 2005.
The job I got starts today, in the afternoon, so I'll be getting ready and stuff soon. And I'm still happy about the entire deal, and it's perfectly okay if you don't care. I'll share anyway, just to annoy you
