FT Tools Tutorial: Making NPC's For Multiplayer (Advanced) By Goldenbeast

If you don't know how to make a multiplayer map then stop here because this is for those that want to put NPC's in their multiplayer maps.

Well the first thing that you must do is click on the Level button. Now go to Teams if you haven't already set up your team matrix then do so now. Now got down to team 8 make them hate whoever you want (this will be the team the NPC's are on). click ok. Now click on the Players button. Click on add. Click on the one you just made. Change the name to whatever you want (NPC for the tutorial). Now click on the dropdown box where it says disabled. Change that to computer. Set the Team to 8. Click on ok.

Now we are ready to place our NPC's. Click on the Entity button and click on actors. Choose any of the folders that you want and choose your Entity. Place it where you want on the map. Click on Entity edit. Now click on your NPC. Go down until you see player index change that to 2. Now look near the very top of the screen if it says NPC then you have done it right. Repeat this process until you have all of the NPC's that you want. Save the game. Then play it with your friends against the computer!

*Note: I know this one is not as in-depth as my last tutorial but keep in mind this is for those that know enough about the editor to make their own maps.*

As always if you need help email me.
