Bush or Kerry? If you're not american, select who you'd vote for if you were an american.

Personally I'd vote for kerry just because he's not bush. but there's definately an element of choosing between a douche and a turd...

Well, Kerry, because I'm a Soviet Canookistani. Seriously, why hasn't that idiot Buchanan been shot?
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

I agree.
I would vote for Kerry because I dislike Bush's self content and asshole demeanor.

If the last election didn't completely ruin democracy for me I'd vote for Bush. He may have fucked things up, and he sounds like a moron, but if Kerry and his pals took over we'd have to start from scratch in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the whole war on terror(tm). Plus Edwards is an even bigger moron than Bush and a bigger snake than Cheney. Kerry promises more than he can ever deliver. And he doesn't understand foreign policy with dictatorships AT ALL. Theresa Heinz and her million companies (look it up, she owns more than Cheney can dream of) are worse than the Haliburton mess. Yeah, Kerry is gonna get rid of outsourcing when his fucking wife is the prime example.

Unfortunately, I live in a Democratic state. So if you don't support Kerry you're burned at the stake by ignorant college students. And our congressmen don't give two shits what the people think.

So my answer: Gonna stay home and watch the world burn.

I'm not registered to vote in the county I live in. Otherwise I'd vote Nader again.

My presidential vote is somewhat redundant, so the main reason I'm voting is for the ballot propositions/measures.

Kerry, maybe Badnarik if I didn’t feel that was so futile.

Whats with all the non-voters? I'm getting sick of hearing "I don't like either candidate" because no election has ever had some shining, flawless, example of a man running. Cry yourself to the voting booth and make a decision.

Wow, so far I'm the only one to go for Bush.

Personally I'd vote for kerry just because he's not bush. but there's definately an element of choosing between a douche and a turd...

That's a major problem in this country. We have assholes who don't know shit about what's going on and they just don't like Bush so their whole reason for voting for Kerry is because he's not Bush. That has got to be the most asinine way of voting. It's like choosing one of them based on the color of their ties. This doesn't really apply to you since you don't count, livng in Limey Land and all.

Badnarik is kind of a wanker, but I identify more with the Libertarian party, but it is rather futile. Plus look at his name. Remember, we have those assholes who vote for Kerry because he's not Bush are the same people who wouldn't be able to remember Badnarik's name.

My freind told me he wasn't voting because he didn't like the choices. I told him to not be an asshole and just write in a caidate at least. If you would preffer Wilford Brimley to be president then for fuck's sake write his name in. Don't just sit there like an asshole because you don't like the choices. If you don't vote then you don't get to bitch later when one of them fucks the dog.

Plus this just isn't the presidential election, there's also lower level elections going on for senators and congressmen. They have more of a bearing on what goes on than the president. If the president wanted to ban pants it would get shot down by them.

ANother thing I don't get is when people complain that Bush lost us all these jobs, and Kerry is going to create them. The president isn't in charge of business, we're not that socialist yet. The only way Kerry will create jobs is if he begs that baglady he calls a wife to move some factories over here. She has 30 some odd factories, two of them are here in the United States. The rest of them are in places like Mexico and Taiwan. So I don't think that Kerry is going to jeapordize his standning within the family, or his access to the vast Heinz fortunes.

i wouldn't say im a political expert but i'm certainly not ignorant about the major US polocies from both candidates. and i really don't like bush, whereas kerry seems less like an idiot. what's wrong with, had i the option, voting for kerry in these circumstances?

Many of the pundits point out that Bush is likeable because "he seems like a normal, average guy that simple people can relate to". What I want to know, is why do people think the average joe is qualified to be the leader of the country? The person I vote for had better damn well be above average. I don't want a guy who can chuckle and smirk his way through arguments. That may be good enough for a debate between neighbors while walking the dogs, but it's a disgrace for a president to do it. I want someone with a keen understanding of all the issues.

And for those of you who LOVE to bring up flip-flopping, because it takes the focus away from Bush's blunderings, keep in mind that Bush is the opposite of a flip-flopper, and that is MUCH more dangerous. It's a well-known fact that EVERYONE fucks up and makes mistakes, all the time. Nobody is exempt from that, however we all know certain arrogant people who hate to admit when they make a mistake. With normal people this is an unattractive quality, however when this arrogant person happens to weild the tremendous power and authority of the President, it is disastrous.

Bush believes he can never make a mistake. He is incapable of considering new facts, he will never change his policies or stances no matter what information comes to light, and he proudly admits this. This lack of maturity should be reason enough to remove him from power.

the polls seem tight so far according to sky news, roughly 50% split, with a 2% error margin.

Should be interesting to see the results.

If you don't like either candidate why should you be forced to settle? And this election has to be the dumbest one of all time. People who vote for Kerry because they believe he'll fix up friendships with former allies and get us out of debt, well I say more power to em. But the countless idiots voting just because they hate Bush a little bit more are only cancelling out the votes of those who think before casting a ballot.

And the morons who think Kerry will get us out of Iraq are dead wrong. It'll still be an issue in 2008.

I can't vote for a guy who has so many broken promises in store for the world. As for Bush, he's fucked everything up. At this point it's like how much worse can things get? Vote for Bush and get more of the same, where things can possibly improve or continue to suck. Or vote for another totally unpredictable guy. Then there's the whole flawed election process in the first place.

If you call me a communist, were you even here in 2000?? Florida and the rest of the country was cheated by both parties.
