Other: I created it from the scratch. This name has been mine since... Was it 1998? Or 1999? Anyways, it's been with me for ages and it means simply NOTHING! It doesn't mean anything, it doesn't have any real basis - its' just what a name is supposed to be: a name.

I've been Sir_Funkalot since at least last year. I use it mainly because no one else used it or will ever use it unless they first kill me. Also my cousin had a similar name and I just took out the funkiest part and mixd it with Sir Lancelot. The "_" came when playing internet games not allowing space in your name...

Names actualy DO have a meaning rather then just an indication of you as a person.
I have had no specific motive to make ''lynxer'' be my nickname. I guess i just liked the looks of it.

Mine is refering to the word funky as in cool, not funk or funky as in smelly, by the way...

Several years ago (Late 80's), I had to figure out a new handle since my current one was in use by someone else (Signing up for a BBS), so I pounded on the keyboard, made what that came up with pronouncable, and have used "Temaperacl", the result, as my primary one since then.

Voted: Other

Reason: Mainly because it's my online gaming nick. But also some people view me as the Grim Reaper (No lie) because of my height and my tendancy to wear long, black clothes.

hmm...

Way back when HL came out, and TFC came out right after, it was
Heavyjoe... Along with my mates (Sniperjoe, Spyjoe, Scoutjoe and so on),
then I changed it to Grim Reaper, (How original, eh?) and I started
picking off players by that name, in 1vs1's.

Then, I got tired of that name, so I was looking for a new one,
and then I saw Se7en, where the black dude was called Smiley by some old folks at the library...

It was then, when I knew I'd found my name...

The "Smiley"!

And there you have it......

My name means something

Darkness40k:

Darkness 40,000

IN THE GRIM ""DARKNESS"" OF THE FAR FUTURE THERE IS ONLY WAR

The far future is the 40,000 meillium.

Thus my name.

And no one else has it :)

this topic again... but in the new forums...

ok, i use to use the handle Galavan which i made up for a fanfic for W40K... buuuuuut... i lost the password in the old forum and i couldn't get back on as Galavan (what a bitch)... and i remembered a line from a movie of a guy trying to go through customs with a load of weapons... "are you trying to start a war?..."

... so... blah blah blah, and i came up with War Bringer... sometimes, if you're lucky, you'll see me sign Galavan after a long meaningful post...
