poll on the enemies of fallout 3/my setting for it

Post by Som Guy »

what if it is after the enclave die and your charater comes from good old modoc.(remeber how your charater could get married) and the enemies would be... a alien life form lands on earth and animates previously inanimate objects(chairs,tables,desks,etc.). imagine having a random encounter with a pissed off desk

my dream was as follows: I walked into a classroom. The desks swivel towards me they start shaking and making a growling noises. I run out and close the door behind me. The desks lunge at the door one after another making dents in the door.

Could you please not double post. It annoys alot of people. You can edit your previous post to contain the new info. Also the Idea of aliens being antagonists will not get you friends here from the die had Fallout crowd of which I would consider myself one.

Ehm.. to the topic..
Voted mutants - personally i think it would be the best solution.
Not the regular ones, but something new, some new species, i dunno.
Just imagine how many of them must have remained on the wastes.
They can regroup, find new leader or resuscitate the old good Master
(it was already mentioned by someone before), and become a threat again.
if not super mutants, then maybe intelegent deathclaws attempting to dominate on the Earth...
They would look really kick ass armed with miniguns.
Whatever it will finally be, it must be something organic - not the machines.
That's my opinion.

Revivng the Master is a no-no. Rehashing the same storyline again and again is bad. As for the Attack of the Intelligent Deathclaws, there's one big problem there: they're all dead. According to MCA, and this is one point that Saint_Proverbius agrees with, I'm sure, any and all talking animals died the instant Fallout 2 ended.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

It all depends on what the chosen one was like- what would happen if he didn't kill dr. Schreber from Navarro? - he would be probably the source of knowledge for (example) mutants looking for support. What if the one was a BAD character? Then the storyline would follow a little different way... The world would be much "shitter place" - and that's what we're all longing for.

I voted mutants. They are definately a part of Fallout universe. I'd like to kick their rather large and green asses again. The whole reviving the Master thing is debatable, but could be done so it doesn't feel like re-playing the same plot. Or maybe just a mutant uprising. Fallout without mutants is a no-no.

Religious cults are fun(to slaughter). No Hubologist/Shi advanced technology though, that makes them too serious, crazy followers and colorful robes is enough. I remember there was a religious faction that worshiped a nuclear bomb in FOT. The radiation had turned them into ghouls.
