How come I can't use the strength molecule?

Post by DeathBloom7 »

So I opened the jammed doors thanks to you guys, but when I got the molecule I couldn't use it? Do I need something else besides the molecule to make it work?

Not any computer. You need a specific computer.

Yeah, it's a specific computer. Keep collecting those modules until you find it. But I think you need a science skill higher than 90%...

I don't think you need any science skill at all (correct me if i'm wrong please).

Giving the location of the computer would be a really spoiling spoiler, so i'll keep it shut as well. Better to find out about these things yourself, much more exciting that way.

Outta curiosity how many module can you find? I think I've only found one or two and I've been away from the game so long that I forget... are the modules the little computer chip lookin things?
Is it they fear the pain of death or do they fear the joy of life?

Heh, i'll not even begin to remember the amount of times i've posted the list of those memory modules. If i still remember correctly, it goes as follows:

***SPOILER*** Sort of...

Red Memory Module (Strength): Vault 8 in Vault City
Yellow Memory Module (Intelligence): Sierra Army Depot
Green Memory Module (Perception): Military Base
Blue Memory Module (Charisma): Navarro

ok, the computer is in fact in arroyo. First you have to get a rope and the special spider armour found in the crashed space shuttle. You then have to crawl down the cliff thn go in the cave and you have to fight the cyborg deathclaw. After that go past the mine-field and access the computer where they stick the chips onto your face (lowers charisma and perception)

The cyborg deathclaw has 999 HP, dual plasma miniguns and this big metal claw thing that cuts you in half with no armour penaltys or anything. You have to use nuka cola on it and it frys is circuits. Or you can use the speicla voodoo doll you get off the tribal in the raider base and it's head will explode.

Damn you pyro, you make things way too easy for him.

I may also add that the computer needs no high science skill at all, I mixed it with the medical puter in Vault City, just checked it out. Oh, and you can use the rubber sex doll on the cyborg deathclaw to distract it for a sec and then sneak past him to the minefield. Oops, did i reveal too much?

Damn, and i usually killed him when i had sniper perk and a bozar that nuka-cola and rubber sex doll was damn new, btw you can give him the cyber hound and he becomes your friend but when you're going through he changes his mind (the little fucker) and shoots you, and the cyber hound helps him... I hate that guy...

The best part is, if you cut off the deathclaws head and give it to the new master at the end, instead of fighting you on his hover-car he makes you fight his special pit fighter and if you use the mutated toe against him with your ear his head explodes. Then for a bonus throw his spear at the masters drooping balls and it gives you 300% on every skill except speech, lockpick, big guns and energy weapons.

What a load of crap!!

All you have to do is get Hakunnin to talk normal and he will tell you where the computer's secret entrance is.

No no no, you have to find Hakunin's twin brother in New Reno and give him some jet so he gives you a holodisc which tells you how to get to the computer. Remember to take some rope, a shovel, dynamite, radio and Vic's water flask before you climb down the canyon. An electronic lockpick is also recommendable but you'll manage without it if you have a decent lockpick skill.

Man! That's the hard way! :o
I have never succeeded making him talk like normal folk. You need a WAAYYYY good speech for that. I'd guess around 200, 'coz I tried with one of my trader characters who had a speech of 186, but I couldn't still make him talk normal. Anyone know the skill for that?
