none of the Designers have weighed in
The project is really only 2 weeks old and decisions are still being made. Also, we (the 4 hired designers) don't know what information we are allowed to post (or at least I don't).

I'm only guessing, but perhaps in a couple of weeks there might be some info released.

I wasn't slighting you guys at all, I understand the projects just getting started and such, I was simply pointing out that we DON'T know what's happening, and it seems like we're all just trying to convince each other.

And I can't wait to hear what';s being done... and Start my artwork :D I have a great character portrait Idea I hope I'll be able to use.

I wanna see rules for playing children, I've always wanted to. And yes, I know you couldn't play one in the game but so what? This is the PnP, not the video game.

Doesn't hafta be a lot, just stat mods and such. In fact, you might wanna check on the Game of Thrones d20 RPG, they had rules for children. You should see if it's open content.

I have never ever once played in a game where playing children ended well.

I ran one once, but it was a game where the party got changed into children for a single adventure.

The GoT book is OK, but even when I ran that I disallowed children just for the sake of not causing me the headache. :)

Again, GM perogative, but make it easy to do it if you choose to.

It actually takes a very mature person to play a kid and not be overly annoying(unless that's what you're going for)

It could just be stat mods for age

Hi to all. New to the boards, but no to Fallout and D20 system.

Well, what i would love to see in the Fallout D20:

No deathclaws or robots has players, for various reasons already explained by a lot of people.
A more free character creation system (much like the one in Unearthed Arcana).
A complete timeline and a good explination of the tech limits on the time of the Great War.
Maybe a system to create your own setting in other place of the world (i am doing it already in my country).
Maybe the aplication of ghouls and super-mutants has templates, and not races.
There is a very good aplication of the free 4 skill points of the human in Conan D20. Depending of your region, you can choose to have those skill points distribuite among a short selection of skills.
A good explination of what level of psionics could be implemented in the Fallout universe, has also an explanation of the mayor changes to the world climate/geography after the Big War.

And thats for the moment.

I prefer there not to be

Well since it is going to be d20, it probably will. But that should not be too much of a problem. You could have different levels of tribals, and other levels of civilizations, but I am sure that has been briefly looked at before.

I think that Super mutants (as well talked about) should have two groups, the alpha and beta I think? (Correct me if I am wrong) Than possibly have a chart that has what if a person is exposed to too much FEV, for example, being dipped in it. Another is if a person is exposed to too much radiation and having the chance of becoming a ghoul.

Then, of course, having more perks. I have about 175 perks in total consisted with some familiar ones with some new ones. Though I do believe a bit more may be needed. If you wish to look at the list I got, I will type it out and send it over (Unless I get some access to a scanner).

There need to be stats for children so I can determine how many of them I could tear apart with my bare hands. After all, if there's a nursery in between me and my objective, it's not like I can walk past it!

Children are covered in the d20 modern core book. So go to town on them with your smg while they run about.

I personally think that the art of killing children would raise too much crazy politicians boycotting the game, and thus all off Fallout.
If Hilary Clinton can get riled up about Hot Coffee in GTA, imagine this!

Oh, yes, we really would miss all the politicians from their boycott...

Hilary was just jealous of the action. Who is going to be jealous of little Timmy getting a round in the forehead?

Children are only good to play as in Paranoia.

My First Treason is the best module ever.
