The best weapon EVER?! Fuck if I know, I mean, nobody knows. Everything has it's own purpose and skillset.
But if I had to say, a few good ones would be, like....
...The Lancer, from Gears of War-- a SMG with a chainsaw bayonet
...A Cleaver, just fun for hacking and ripping shit up
...An SVD Dragunov, for popping zits
But most of all, a Minigun. Size of the model never really matters, just... just shooting and shooting and blasting every fucking thing up with the utmost of... uh... frivoloty. It's just too good to ever really be pushed out from the best of the best

the best weapon ever was one of those half-automatic rifles in "the specialists" mod for counter strike( shush, i dont play that game)
i liked that weapon for being accurate, giving me the possibility to shoot each bullet whenever i wanted to, and well, i rocked the others at that LAN

In Fallout my favorite weapon would have to be the scoped hunting rifle, but the best weapon, if your in a jam, is either the gauss rifle or Dogmeat.
