I just can't see Liam as the Voice of Fallout, just can't. He's ok, but in "War, war never changes"...no. Then again...Ronnie could be the voice...could be...has to be..help...i need...beer.

The inclusion of a father character indicates that bethsoft have thrown the whole lone in the wastes concepts away... whenever there's family in games they tend to get all well... bad.

I've given up on FO3, the only thing that can make me buy it now is if bethsoft stay 100% true to special, has loads of dialoue and does not dumb everything down.

Somehow I'm rather sure that they won't even manage to get one of those things done. And all I keep wondering is: Why didn't they develop their own PA world, why do they hate us so much that they're willing to pay $$$ to fuck up Fallout?

On a sidenote: I still cant find the bloody europe lol thread where the fuck is it??????

Yeah, like in Fallout 2 where the Arroyo Elder was your mother (daughter of the Vault Dweller).

I usualy skipped arroyo as much as I could.

It was lame and didnt really adhere to the FO setting in my mind.

'tribals' should have been more like the Khans in FO, they lived in junked houses and tents, adn were simply 'tribals' because they lived as a small tribe, not in a larger settlement.

And, apart from this, she was more of an annoying lady than a mother character really... I can't quite recall her calling you 'son' or being mentorish at any time.... She was just frowning at you.
She was elder first and mother second.

I like Nielson but I get the feeling that much like another favorite actor of mine (Patrick Stewart) he's gonna die in the first 5 minutes and Beth is using him as a way to go "WE HAVE GOOD VOICE ACTING" when really they spent all their money on Patrick Stewart and only had 6 voice actors to voice the ENTIRE GAME.
