Fallout 2 armor in fallout tactics

Is there a way to put the fallout 2 armor models in the fallout tactics if so please comment

It's possible but it looks like crap with only 6 directions, Tactics uses 8.

To this day, I'm still stumped by the fact that Modders were able to implement Fallout 1 & 2 models into Fallout Tactics, how is that even possible!? Isn't The Phoenix Engine for Fallout Tactics completely different from Fallout 1 & 2's specific Game Engine???
