No, what fucks up the movie is that the filmmakers suck. If they used shitty animatronics or claymation, the movie would still be fucked up. Even if they didn't use special effects the movie would be fucked up because the filmmakers suck.

In which case we would have "I meant [putting CG into service] fuck[s] up movies" which is still wrong. It's sucky filmmakers that ruin movies.

The filmmakers are the one making uses of CG so YES I MEANT THE FILMMAKERS DO SUCK. Hell we're arguing on nothing here.
