Alright, this is a topic about drug usage.

I just want to know what kinds of drugs people here have done, maybe share your experiences.

I've recently taken up smoking marijuana. I smoke probably once every two weeks. It's not the best thing ever, but it's great if you get some really good "shit."

I was wondering if any of you have tried 'shrooms. I remember iohkus saying something about 'shrooms a while back. I've always wanted to hallucinate (weed does it to a very, very minor extent) but I don't want the permanently mind-altering effects of LSD and I don't want to put swiss cheese holes in my brain with ecstacy.

Don't really care if this topic lives or dies. Just don't be a jackass and turn this into some stupid Canadian political debate or something, please.

That reminds me of that kid who ODed on some drugs after his dipshit "friends" on some online chat room dared him too. I think that the last thing that he typed in before he passed out and died was something along the lines of "Dude IM SOO HARDCORE!". Fucking moron.

Let me make myself clear: I hate the culture around drugs. It's stupid. Drug use in moderation is harmless, and I don't rely on it to deal with the world. It's simply a mindless distraction from my boring caged lifestyle.

This topic wasn't intended for those of you with the elementary school-induced "holier than thou" mentality towards drug use.

I wanted to have a civil discussion about drug use, and here you all are, shitting on my topic, just begging for it to be closed.

I said I didn't care if it died, meaning if people didn't care to reply. I don't want it closed.

Theres abit of a differance between entertainment and escapism. My life is actually pretty interesting so no I don't use those to "Escape" my life, their just entertainment for me cause their fun, simple as that. The irony is that the quote is from a movie. So before you call me a hypocrite and make assumptions that you actually know something about my life and that your nihilistic "Fight Club" wannabe ideals apply to me, try to actually know if I consider my life boring and find out that your assumptions are correct.

The only drugs I've ever taken are Adderal, alcohol and some strange drug that helped an eye problem.

One thing, I'd rather spend my money on games or movies or books or things that probably won't deaden my brain or prevent me from having any emotions in the future.

I love those kids at school that think Marijuana isn't addictive. Of course that's why they can't go longer than 2 days without it.

Fight Club isn't exactly nihilistic. It's more machismo than anything. Beating the shit out of each other to reach enlightenment isn't exactly nihilistic. They never even do drugs in Fight Club, so that's irrelevant.

Same thing with me. It's entertainment. It's not an escape. I'm tired of people thinking that drugs are some kind of escape from your problems. More often than not, when a problem comes along it's magnified when under the influence of drugs.

My life is actually fairly interesting at times, but during the times that it's not I sometimes choose to use drugs. I don't understand how it makes me a weaker person. It doesn't fry my brain or anything. It doesn't make me weaker after I come out of the high.

I really don't understand drug moralizing.

It isn't. It's psychologically addictive, yes. Anything good is "addictive" such as masturbation, videogames, or ping pong. Don't call something addictive without clarifying wether it's mental or phyiscal addiction, please. It just spreads more lies.

By the way, I've gone 2 months without smoking since I've started because it bored me. I have self control. I don't see a problem with doing drugs if you have self control.

Hell, I don't see a problem with doing drugs if you don't. If you die, you die. You become fertilizer for the plants.

Drug use seems retarded.

1. It is a constant drain on your budget.
2. It is harmful to your body, potentially fatal.
3. It can leave you an emotionless shell of a human being.
4. It can tear apart your family, if such values hold meaning in your world.

So not only does it waste your money, it kills you and depresses your family. hahahaha

A good friend of mine (the roofer friend from Valentine's, actually) has taken just about every drug there is to take. When he did acid, he didn't know how powerful the stuff was--it was in a little binaca eye dropper bottle, he just squeezed a bunch in his mouth...which is an insane amount of acid to take. His legal guardian was off on a business trip, so he was at his house, by himself, the entire weekend.

One of the bigger things he remembers was that his cats kept scaring the shit out of him. He kept imagining they were following him around a meowing in tandem, and that when he looked at them tunnels to nowhere would open up in their bodies and then dissappear...then he thought he was on fire...when someone did come by the house, he found him naked. The house had been torn apart, and he'd hurled a bottle of his sister's nail polish through the window. That's one of his more entertaining stories.

As for weed: eh. Grew out of it when I turned sixteen. Don't see the point in paying someone twenty bucks to make you tired and/or hungry.
