What I think would be a sweet feature would be to be able to point and click to allign the volumetric bounding box. This is how Red!Viewer works for tiles. ha it would be cool to watch the numbers change in the X,Y,Z fields as you did it..just a thought! I guess... Direct draw? Direct3D, though I'm...

Wewps, I meant that version pre1.6 supported it, as opposed to the 1.6.x version. Sorry for the confusion. What was neat about it too is that you could ask the program to "optimize" the frame borders depending on the animation/direction you wanted to render (you could thus save space seper...

You can edit the sprite in spray but without that visual representation of the 3D bounding box getting the X,Y and Depth, Height, Width is just guesswork for me. I always have both applications open when editing sprites. Hey, what if I made the app check the "last modified date" of a spri...

RedViewer 1.x used to support "Hair colour" features (and also had a proper clipping rectangle depending on which animation you wanted to transfer). However it only exported the image to the clipboard.

I really should get my act together and make a proper tool :P

Or well, at least one that's as good as spray11 at first, then perhaps improve on it.

Could someone make a map available with this bug (and if necessary the "Edited sprite" given you don't use one from the game) so I can see if there's anythign wrong with the sprite itself?

Some viewers support the defunct RIX format (notably GRV).

It's not a FRM so obviously you won't be able to view them with a FRM viewer/converter.

I updated Red!Viewer a bit albeit nothing to work with sprites (let's hope "yet"). I send the sources of a few versions back to a certain Dak, and emailed him to ask him wether he wanted the updates (I added PNG loading support in later hopes to use it to convert to other formats). I never...

Download my viewer, make sure the "Preview Mode" option is ticked and open the (any, albeit I know few other than the default) CAMpaign file. Keep in mind it'll take a while before it's loaded and displayed. You can then export it to TGA format in File->Export as TGA (or whatever I called ...

It's not free, heh.

I checked it out for the heck of it and it's crap for it's FO support. Single frame support only - no previews!

Aye... Frame NAMES... read frameRATE. Well, didn't read it obviously since it wasn't written. Sorry about that. So to make it up, it's MASCRP.

Though techinically with the "Quick and Dirty open" you can see the names...

Hope that helps.

Use Red!Viewer :P... It displays it. It also probably depends on the animation. Most are 10fps, some 8fps.

You can always send me a few (given there are any that is) and I'll adapt my viewer to them as I did for HotWheels. I've managed to download HotWheels and man the game is crap. I thought it'd be fun (I always enjoyed HotWheels) but the game's really crap. One thing interesting though is that some ti...

You mean "Enemy infestation", released in 1998? I just noticed that it looks in the same style as FOT and was made by MicroForte... I'm wondering wether the sprites'll be similar (downloading it right now though it might not be done soon).

Man the web sucks. Any old domain is bought by lame advertizment companies just to get free hits on older defunct URLs from un-updated web pages.

Long story short, both are taken and will probably sell for slightly higher then a normal "free" url. Didn't actually check though.
