i've just googled for bethesda and followed a news link to their site.. in the news clip they talk about aquiring the fallout liscence.. yada yada yada... and mention Elder scrolls for reference.. so i went to the elderscrolls site, and i must say, it looks not that bad.. ok so it won't be isometric...

are you trying thr script out in the game or the mapper? because the mapper doesn't deal with variables in scripts very well.. unless you change the line in the mapper2.cfg that says "run_mapper_as_game" to 1.. it's something to do with it not setting up the variables properly... the #defi...

that tutorial will be of sod all help in this instance Qwerty, but thanks for the plug.. i never wrote a tutorial on setting up the editor because it should be plug and play... install the game to the default directory... install the editor the the default directory.. on the SAME DRIVE as the game.....

use frm2bmp found in the files section of DAC.. use the following command line from a comand prompt window from the folder where the art is ( assuming you put the program there too. ) frm2bmp.exe -p EG_V1301.pal EG_V1301.frm it converts using the pallete file.. it also creates a .inf file for the bm...

youhave to speed your sound files up first, by increasing the sample rate.. don't ask me why, i never understood that either...

if you use a converter to turn acm's to wav's, most of them will be at double speed...

you should be able to just put in a green exit grid, set the exit grid data to point to the map you want, and then mark all of the exit grid pieces you just put in... as per the tutorial.. try marking it to go to a different map to test it... ie the village... you shouldn't need to alter any of the ...
