Why would buying the disc help it? Have you thought that maybe its not supposed to run on windows 7?

I bought Fallout 2 a while ago but every time I run it, the video goes into negatives where shadows should be, also during conversations. Anyone know what i can do to fix this?

Yeah, we've hung out a couple times. He was kind enough to help me procure some alcohol a while back. Also tried to get me a job in his company while he was with I.C.E., but that ended up failing miserably. He said I should apply to be a telemarketer, but not terribly long after, he got transfered ...
