Never really liked HW... The way they used the completely three dimensional space was super cool, though. But I never got used to the controls, not that I would be much of a RTS guy in the first place, and I always got my ass kicked.

I've been looking for a good RTS (since no one makes TB strategies anymore) because I'm sick of FPS games as of late.

I've heard Rise of Nations is good (for multiplayer at least), but haven't played it myself.

I gave up on RTSs a long time ago. They raped my mouse.

I'm still looking for a good turn based WWII game.

Rise of Nations was damn fine, never played multiplayer, it wasn't turn based though. But yeah, after I formatted, it never played right. I got weird graphical issues, no crashes, just crazy lines and I got pissed off and uninstalled for good after likefourty reinstalls and patches and GFX card driver updates.

Yeah, I enjoyed Homeworld for the first few levels, but it quickly got more tedious than fun. IMO, Ground Control was a much better game. Still haven't gotten around to either of their sequels.

Ground Control 2 was a blast, but the single player campaign felt a little short and decended into tank columns.

Well I ment something more along the lines of West Front of Panzer Generals. I think that new Axis & Allies game is gonna be turn based, so heres for hoping.

Well, combat mission is pretty "raw" strategy, me thinks. It's complex as hell, I can't understand shit about it.

Nope, it's an RTS. However, they already did a direct adaptation of the board game a few years back.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Have you ever played Heroes III? It's all the TBS you'll ever need.

Conquest of the New World was a good one. Combat was kinda like chess, if all the chess pieces carried muskets and cannons. Outside combat it was more like Civilization on a 3d map (think Rome:Total War).

Another one nobody every heard of because it was way ahead of its time is Enemy Nations. The system requirements at the time were ridiculous, but if you had a rig that could handle it you were treated to one of the nicest looking 3d RTS's with way too much micromanagement involved.

Okay, it's been a month. Or was it a few weeks. I really don't know. But it's been a while. Is anyone still playing it and still enjoying it enough to continue? (i.e. does it have lasting potential thus should I buy it. Kind of like my StarCraft I just broke out the other day and started playing again.)

Poland sure isn't good at getting games early. Why don't you order a copy online?
