vertibird mod screwing up game

If I talk to one of the npcs added in the vertibird mod, and then leave a random area then my game crashes.wtf.Im using the english dat version.

I think a lot of people seem to have problems with this mod, I havent played it myself yet though.

What version of the patch are you running?
Are you running the mod as a DAT file or in a 'Data' folder?
If in a DAT file are you using FADE or Mod Runner?
