Post by danferry »

Anyone ever play that? Figure out how to find it? I loaded it on my game, and the txt says that it is above Gecko, but I can't find it.

Thanks

Maybe that's got something to do with it?

Well I have no idea in that case. Can't be bothered to install it myself either. Live with it. You'll have Fallout 3: Ashlands to ass-rape yourself with in no time.

For some of the mods to work you may need to restart the game from the begining. I would just wait another couple of weeks if I were you though becuase the new un-offical patch should be out very soon (last I heard in another 3 - 4 days). This version willl also add the abey

Yeah..they work at it pretty hard too. Celestial is the one over in charge of it. Here's the link to the pretty extensive thread over at NMA:

link: Unofficial Patch

edit:
On July 24th, Celestial wrote:The 1.06 patch is almost ready. Just a couple of days (3 or 4) and I'll release it.
So that means it should be released any moment!

oo the suspense.

Check the new news post guys...
Chances of 1.06 being released anytime soon have gone down the crapper.

What was the Abbey anyway? I'm too lazy to move my arse and search in the Bible... was it this 'city' inhabitated by furries?

The Abbey was a big reference to Walter M. Miller Jr.'s Canticle for Liebowitz. It was a big monastery where an order of monks had conserved a number of technical texts from before the war and carefully copied them in the monastic style for dozens of years to preserve them.

The furry elf creatures was the Burrows and was a community based on a group of FEV-infected raccoons that escaped from the Glow. Abbey was to be in FO2, Burrows in FO1.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.
