He may 'steathly' be more conservative than many believe. For example, Arnold has given a lot of money over the years to various Pro-Gun organizations. Even though he comes out in support of "sensible" gun laws, it will be interesting to see which, if any, he actually signs. I believe he recognized how difficult it would be for a true conservative, someone like McClintock for example, to get elected governor in California and decided to take a more moderate stance on many issues, hoping that moderation and name recognition could win him the election.

Now that the Republicans have California you can pretty much guarantee Bush's reelection.

I wouldn't exactly call it control. Sure, Arnold is the new governor, but the legislature is still under Democratic control. Heck, Bustamante is still Lt. Gov. even. It's certainly interesting that in an election with such a large voter turnout Arnold enjoyed such a large lead over Bustamante, but I'm not convinced we'll see the same thing happen in 2004.

Jesse Ventura in Minnesota, and Arnold in Cali.

Now all we need is for the Predator himself to run.

A Dog ran for Governor as well. Got 100 votes. I think he was already mayor of a city in cali, too.

Heh, I was thinking that.

I thought Jesse Ventura was Texas though.
