Why? Out to 200 yards it is very possible for a milled recievered AK clone to be extremely accurate. Part of the challange is being able to shoot respectable groups with a rifle people who think they know accuracy scoff at.

Like I said, novelty, it's just something cool to have, some people like cars or motorcycles or electronic gagdets and some people like firearms.

Motorcycles aren't a novelty..I've been riding forever...My bike is my daily driver...I've put more miles on it than my car. For the gas prices alone, it's a practical idea.

But the whole conflict is the he either buys the gun or pays the rent. If he sells the gun for less than what he bought it for then he'd still have to pay the rent, so he can't buy something cool with the $150

But he wants the gun, the cool thing he wants to buy is the gun, he either wants to pay the rent or buy the gun, not buy the gun then sell the gun so he can pay the rent and maybe have enough money left over for a box of Twinkies, it would be pointless, he could have just paid the rent and saved himself the trouble of buying and selling the gun, he wouldn't have gotten the Twinkies but he's not a Twinkie man, he's in it for Moon Pies and nothing less, am I right?

...and will have to get a part-time job. As it is, I now work at wal-mart with single mothers and retarded people. So I've taken care of the rent and am going to pick up my rifled homeland defense musket later next week.

Rent is most important. A bum on the streets with a AK just screems for trouble.

Get a part time job save up and buy the AK.

Don't listen to SOME of the above idiots. The AK is better than the AR all around, maybe not accuracy but the AK can shoot good enough. Just about every other way the AK is better.

Also, if the AK cost 3 months rent then A you are paying way, way too much for it or B. you have a really, really good deal on rent and should not lose that.
