I'm going to get both half life 2 and stalker should I ever get my other computer running. I don't see that happening till they both go bargain bin though.

If I saw all of them on a shelf and had to grab one, I'd probably go for Doom 3. Mainly because id software is the most reliable company out of the group and have a good track record of making games that don't fuck up.
I don't trust Valve and HL2 doesn't interest me at all.
STALKER sounds too good to be true, so I'd be cautious of spending money on it before reading lots of reviews.
TOEE might be cool, except I'd have to be really fucking bored to want to load up another fantasy RPG.

Did you know DAC used to be PlanetFallout (roughly)? It was hosted by RPGPlanet. But then Killzig decided to use his site to post news about how Interplay was fucking us over with Fallout Fantasy. Naturally, Silverdawn, RPGPlanet uberdude, decided to take this news item down and boot Killzig from DAC immediately to make sure GameSpy would still get all sorts of cool shit from Interplay.

Conclusion: GameSpy is a bunch of weenies.

I would prolly get all of them, but I'm going to be very cautisous when they come out and I'm going to read alot of reviews before I buy anyone, cause I dont want to get burned. What I want most is another Troika RPG, but TOEE being hardcore D&D is kinda of a turn off for me since I don't really appreciate D&D in games. I'll most likely get it but it's not my most desired. STALKER looks like my type of game, if they truelly make it non-linear and free form then it will be cool.
