merging maps?? should i tell how??

i have figured out how to "merge" 2 maps together ( ie copy one level from one map to another map.. )

would a tutorial on this be any use to anyone..??

just in case your interested, i posted the tutorial about an hour after posting this thread.. i'm no good at waiting for an answer..
