First I will say, I haven't even tried the editor or scripting yet with Fallout.
I just was thinking it maybe a good idea, if it's possible, to make a basic mod. Something like the original Fallout demo was. One map basically, some NPCs to interact with, maybe a quest. And use this, whoever makes it, write up a tutorial to guide new people along, I think this could help the community. Each making our own mods or maybe making something greater?
Just an idea, maybe its already been done? And if not, is it even possible?

get with the program... there are at least 3 "mods" ( and i use the term loosely since they are more like sequels ) in the works.. ours and 2 others that i read about on DAC...
My site has tutorials on exit grids ( with pictures ), and elevators.. and i will be writing a "basics" mapping tutorial ( probably with pictures ) at the weekend..
Also on the site is a new world map with the locations that we intend to include as well as screenshots from several maps that are in the process of being made by us..
