[Game -> Update]

In <A href="http://www.interplay.com">Interplay</a>'s infinite wisdom, they've added a new fan moderator to the <A href="http://forums.interplay.com/viewforum.php?f=55">Fallout Enforcer forum</a>. Some guy by the name of Janet or something like that. Anyway, here's what he has to say:

S_P, you should not be surprised. Interplay and almost everyone related to them are complete shitholes.

We have a better chance SWEATING PURE GOLD than getting through any of their thick skulls.

Interplay, why did you do this?!?

When you got a popular name such as Fallout.

Why don't you make what your fans want with it instead of going against it?

Like some dev guy said in an interview, I know the hardcore fallout fans proboably won't like it (not an exact quote), then, if you arent't using the fallout name to lure the old fans, why not use a new name?

You are destroying a perfectly good and famous name...
sad...

That's pretty damned funny. The developers won't even go to that forum because a huge chunk of the people are pissed off about the title.

ULTRA SMART SOLUTION: Delete every thing even remotely questioning the title, so they'll come back to a great big circle jerk of love.

By the way, I'm going to usurp Rosh and slap the STRAWMAN on that argument. The reason he's deleting them is because it's more stealthy than locking the tread. If you go to a forum and see miles and miles of locked threads, you know there's a problem. If they're deleted, new users are none the wiser, at least until they stumble on the WHY ARE MY POSTS BEING DELETED? threads.. Which will most likely get deleted anyway.

Yeah theres only one problem we have with all this hating interplay and FO:BOS.

When it comes to someone saying lets make fallout3, interplay will be to shit scared to do anything cause we all know whats going to happen if they fuck that up, so its not only interplay killing fallout..... its also us

I doubt you see it for one simple reason, they fear the backlash of people finding out who they are after all the emails and things Chucky Baby's gotten.

I tried to talk some sense into Janet, but he replied my PM with this:

I've been an active user on these boards for quite a while, and I'm pretty much a member of the community. I was elected by popular vote by the members of the FO forum.

Now, I was assigned to mod the FO1&2 forum and the FO:BOS forum, and that is what I intend to do. No need to preach to me about FO fans since I'm one of them. I'm not happy about this game (quite frankly I hate the idea), but I AM a mod, and I have a duty to keep those 2 boards clean. If you feel that some of my moderating decisions are unfair, PM me with your reasons.

As for me being an enforcer of unfair laws, what unfair laws have I enforced?
