Sure the interface is cludgy, but the thing males maps that actually work, and on top of it includes PRO editing.

FO2 Mapper Not Loading

Post by Maximous »

Mapper is not loading.

When I start the progie, my screen goes blank for a couple of seconds, then it goes back to my normal desktop.

FO2 is installed on a different volume then the mapper.

If possible could someone post their mapper.cfg

Make sure you have all the dats available... though I'm probably the only one around here which works without the DATs and with fallout fully extracted so it might not apply for you :P

Did you toy around in the .cfg or something?

Mapper 2

Post by Maximous »

Do the Dats have to be FULLY EXTRACTED?!

I did mess with the mapper2.cfg. Since Mapper didn't intially work (when FO2 was on d: volume), I copied FO2 to my C:\ then edited mapper2.cfg to say c:\ instead of d:\

I already made a cool mod for the temple of trials. I don't know if it's an improvement or not though
