A simple poll, really.

Polls are mostly useless, but it would be interesting to see how many people are actually interested in this game.

Myself, I'll be getting it as soon as it gets shipped over here.

It's funny. The game hasn't even been officially announced yet, and we're already promising to buy it.

I just hope they can live up to all the promises.

Oh, yeah I'm gonna buy it. The best part is that it'l be released right when I'm going to tire of Lionheart.
One day...

I might. I'll wait and see if it lives up to the hype first. Must admit it sounds pretty groovy though...

I'll buy it when it comes out & cross my fingers that it is finished & doesn't need numerous bug fixing patches. I feel an urge to support Troika as the last best hope for mainstream RPG's. If they manage to pull this one off & their sales are decent we might end up seeing more houses take up the TB/RPG effort.

Hype? I don't see this game getting 'BEST GRAPHICS SINCE DOOM 4' on all the games magazines or 'ADDICTIVE GAMEPLAY THAT WILL KEEP YOU FIDDLING AROUND FOR HOURS' on game sites.

I'll have to see more information on this game first to make a decision.

Read the GameSpot interview Pyro; it promises quite a lot.

I don't know yet if I'll buy it or not, hopefully yes. I'll try to avoid the "hype" too, as it usually leads to a letdown.

I'd like to see some screenshots though. If the interface looks to micro-managery or takes up a third of the screen I probably won't buy it.

Also I don't have $50 to spend on a game going off one interview.

There, there, Kreegle. It'll pass.

Pyro, no screens yet because it hasn't been officially announced yet. Look for something this week or maybe next week.

Yes.

From past experiance, that is... I tried baldur's gate, baldur's gate 2, icewind dale, the whole might and magic series(it counts!) and i can name a few more... I gave them a try, i played for about a few hours, and i didnt like them(although the music was good)...You follow my lead?

Well, I think the D&D setting is not bad itslef.
The problem with it is that all of the games that use it are just plain bad.

It doesn't mean the game would suck only because it is d&d.

No. The game sounds better than Lionheart, but it's still Dungeons and Dragons.

[Edit]
But if they announced a new Darksun game you can bet your ass I'd buy it. Even a remake of Shattered Lands would make me happy.

Yes, if I don't die first!

Not sure about Lionheart though, I'll probably try the demo first. I also skipped IWD2, and that's the first BIS game I've skipped!

Aye, I'll probably get it. I liked Arcanum despite its faults. So far I think it sounds better then Lionheart. But then again I could really use some more info.

There were some bugs in Shattered Lands, but Wake of the Ravager was insane. So many crashes and constantly having your inventory vanish was a huge pain in the ass. The sequel wasn't even that good to begin with. Then they made a massive multiplayer type thing called Crimson Sands which nobody heard about. I logged more hours in Shattered Lands than any other RPG to date.
