Hurrah! Another CTB fan!! I'm not alone in thinking (braces for incoming flames...) that FO and FO2 TB combat is just toooo damn slow!
While a lot of hardcore Fallout purists won't like it, I strongly believe FO3 should have both TB and CTB modes to please long time Fallout fans and the new arrivals who came to love the whole Fallout thang through playing FO:T.
I like TB personally, but wouldn't object if there was a CTB or even RT mode(as long as TB is still there). Victor, are you saying there are people who would bash a possible FO3 title just for that? 8O

Afraid so, mate. I've had people give me all sorts of grief on the BIS and V13 boards for suggesting CTB should be an option in FO3...which is why I don't post there any more.

Not many FO:T fans there either...
Turn based combat in FO 3 is really slow. Some improvments must be done - maybe combination of real and TB... If fight is serious - 15-20 units, this is hell to wait when everybody will act. Smt must be done

So, you have FO3 huh?
I like TB combat it doesn't matter that it takes a while to complete it. When I played FOT in CTB I really didn't like all that much because it took all the fun out of combat for me.
What is it so fun to look after these slow guys? 8O Well, actually I was telling about FO 2(not FO3). Have you ever tried to fight in New Reno - a lot of neutral guys, a lot of weak guys - blasted casinos - and all must act. In FOT all is easier - you simply kill everybody in your sight. But in FO 2 you must suffer for much longer...
