Well, some people said he might have provided an adequate "performace" while working at id. Event though there is no real proof that he wasn't, things tend to point that he never did much.

Ah, Red, that wall-rocket thing has been done. It was a major selling point of Red Faction, a so-so FPS. Remember Geo Mod? It was a cool idea, but it was poorly executed. There was all of one place in the game where that technology was a part of the level design.

i doubt it, but why have they got the poll on the site at all if they aint doing some kind of market research on it?

If it's "market research", it's a piss-poor method. Not only would it be in a highly-biased taint, but they really don't have many viable voting alternatives that are comparable.
