An iconic Dutch flick that I unfortunately missed when it was current.
For those who haven't seen it, I would recommend that you do. And don't watch the trailer, it gives too much away.

Looks somewhat entertaining but I don't know if it's enough to spend my valuable time renting it on netflix.
How would you rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 St. toxic's?

i watched maybe 20min of it and it seemed highly jew-e-nile :highbrow: i give it maybe 2 out of X

Ooh, I'm surprised at the skeptical response. The thing that makes this movie shine is that it isn't as slap-stick as a first impression might lead you to believe, but that it's actually quite accurate social commentary and satire on the current situation in European socialist utopias.
Don't know how I would rate it though, saw it again with a female acquaintance fairly recently and some of the impact is lost when the shock value ceases to be shocking. Still, would def. recommend it. There's even a sequel out, though I haven't watched that yet.
