rip hurricane badman you will never rest in peace in our memories but float down the nile like king tut. let my people go!
i Have missed the start of this story and don't want to jump in at such a late date, spoilers duh. although I do have a funny story about Egypt,
I'm a bit nervous, as I will be going on my dream vacation, to egypt on a boat trip down the Nile. I will be gone ten days, and don't see any way of continuing the enemas while I'm away. I am almost out of coffee, so even if I could make it on the ship, I'm out of coffee and it's too late for it to get here if I order it now.
Their president is an asshole and the general populace is tired of being shat on by the same asshole for 30 years so the general populace turn into dicks in order to fuck an old shitty asshole out of the picture.

To be fair, most of the people rioting are assholes too. They only want him gone so they can get back to chopping off thieves hands and throwing rocks at women.
That's pretty much the same opinion I have. While I'm cool with the fact that the Egyptians want democracy, I'm more worried about who (The Muslim Brotherhood) is pushing democracy and why, inwhich case it's pretty much exactly as Yonmanc stated. I dunno, my knowledge of Arab society suggests this is a ruse so that the Muslim Brotherhood can get more conservative western hating powers in there than any actual push for democracy.
Umm, an over-statement. The Muslim Brotherhood just announced that this is entirely a people's revolution and they will not be endorsing any candidates for the presidential election. Muslims want democracy too, you know, and not all Arabs are Muslims (not even close).
Because everything that a group says is the truth and no one ever has a hidden agenda.
I'm not saying that it's impossible this is a good step in the right direction, I'm just saying that the way things ussually go in the middle east suggest that this is just replacing one tyrant with another.
The Muslim Brotherhood reformed themselves into a moderate party in the 70s. A lot of pundits are quoting this terrorist or that terrorist used to belong to the Muslim Brotherhood, but they reason they left was because the Muslim Brotherhood's agenda isn't that of fundamentalist whackjobs.
There are a good many Muslim's who are perfectly moderate people. Hating the Muslim Brotherhood because of their name is like hating the Christian Children's Fund because of the Inquisition.

Because I love arguing with you, Retlaw, do you ever read anything anyone else ever has to say? I'm just curious, because it definetly seems that way a majority of the time.
Nowhere has anyone said they dislike the MB because of their name or are even basing it on their past actions, which by the way, include links to violence beyond the 70's which makes your comment lol-ironic. I didn't even say I dislike them, just that I'm just suspicious of the agendas that may be present within the Brotherhood or may result from their actions. A degree of suspicion should always be applied to any mass movement that preaches in the name of "change." This is no exception.

Agreed. Whatever comes next, it's the will of a majority of their people, hopefully. However, I can't possibly imagine the United States and Israel not sticking their noses in to manipulate things covertly.
I'm also gonna go off topic and wonder aloud why anyone still believes the office of United States president holds any credibility. Obama's a stooge, but people still believe his word means anything at all.... a little frustrating.
This country needs an Egyptian-style revolution. Popular media has us so fragmented that it would be nearly impossible to not cause a civil war in the process of changing the broken government. Glenn Beck and his army of dimwits would ride in fighting against the forces of common sense.
Malcolm and John sneak into her house to plant security cameras and tap the phones. Sherry then calls the house, and Malcolm disguises his voice as Big Momma in an attempt to lure Sherry to Big Momma's house and possibly obtain a confession. The plan works, and Malcolm and John work together on a Big Momma disguise costume before Sherry's arrival the next day.
Brotherhood of Muslim Steel coming to you quebec style 1906. If communists didn't play a part in fallout was it because the republican Herb Cane decided there should be no meniton of a socialist agenda?

They're dicks who fuck the asshole so the dicks can become assholes themselves. Dicks seem to have an issue with pussies and assholes, they want to attack them but at the same time they're in awe of their power(s)?
I'm not stoned I swear..

Judging from your articulation from that and every other post you've made it would be impossible to distinguish whether one would have been "stoned" or not.
A comeback the likes of which has never been received on a forum such as this. Truly, a scathing response as that has put the scrappy upstart in his place.
