Interesting article. I'm not sure if Fallout is entirely 'forgotten' but pretty much everyone here knows how revolutionary it was. I was a bit disappointed when I played Dragon Ages, I went in expecting a game with similar flexibility as Fallout, the choices I made really mattered but I ended up fighting a bunch of guys and that got boring.

Now how come people paid to write stuff can't write stuff like this but people blogging and having small sites on the web can? Sick world.

Let’s say you choose to save her. After making your way to the bandit camp after a several mile long journey through the dead lands, the game offers you even more choices, this time strategic ones. You may approach the raiders boldly in broad daylight or choose a stealthier approach, slinking in the shadows after nightfall when the sentries are fast asleep.
It never occurred to me to NOT go in there guns blazing, killing every god-damned this I saw… and of course, loot the bodies afterwards.
Well, Ok, it did occcur to me to go in there playing the role of the dead dad, but then I pissed the leader off and was gonna kill him ANYWAYS, so it really doesn’t matter.

You don't count for this, Junktown.

Actually, you don't count in any conversation.

If you only knew- You'd grovel at my feet.

Or demand I be banned outright...

Or both...

No one in the history of the world would ever grovel to you for anything. And banning harmless lunatics is a waste of time.

The reason you don't count for Walt's question is because you weren't here when the guy who wrote it was relevant.

Go eat a dick.

I've gathered that he's the guy in "POOPERSCOOPER"s avatar. Pooper may not be the bet of posters, but he sure knows how to preserve old shit.

Who are you? You're not old enough to know the horrors of Rex.

Remember that time Rex asked for advice on smiling? That was funny.
