It produces more pollution to recycle paper than produce new paper. As for recycling aluminum, bauxite is fucking everywhere.

Paper I would probably believe but aluminum is probably the best and easiest thing to recycle since it takes a lot of energy to turn bauxite into aluminum. Hell of a lot cheaper to just reuse aluminum and I think that is where a majority of our aluminum comes from. I learned this from Environmental Economics okay.
