The Rome game is Fall of an Empire I think, its pretty rare nowadays.

I kind of wished I played some of these board games as a kid as they sound like they would have been like fun but I doubt I would have ever read the instructions and it would have been too complicated. Only games we really played was checkers(because I didn't and still don't know how to play chess), jenga, yatzee, and uno.

Perhaps I will buy Risk and ask my friends if they want to sleep over and play it.

that's why you should play them as adult :yikes: i didn't really play board games as a kid except all the usual shit ones and now there's like starcraft and doom board games and stuff and it's all next-gen and xbawks yet still better than any of the recent computer games i've played

risk 2210 is good, it's the original with lunar bases and nukes or some shit, the territory names are a laugh too

gumshoe is alright too, some sherlock holmes business

i remember settlers of catan being alright

monopoly is alright

i like playing chess but nobody i know really seems to play i also like pool but that means having to go all the way to the frikkin pub at the top of the road but its free but i dont have anyone to play with anyway we were at the table last week and id have a few cement mixers and waiting to go on this table but some shmucks kept wanting to play anyway the moral of the story is i took their cues back at the end and got the £5 deposit LMAO

i also collect packs of cards but dont know how to play any games hope that helps
