I just beat the single player, it was pretty fun. Multiplayer seems almost stripped down, like a lot of the units I was using in the campaign aren't on multiplayer and it severely affects the tactics you can use. Feel like they are going to add to the multiplayer with each new release atleast I hope so.

As far as I know multiplayer will stand as is. It's not so much that the units were stripped from multiplayer as they were added to single player, as they were removed from multiplayer for balance and reinserted into the single player game, to my understanding. Not to mention many of them are throwbacks to SC1.

Singleplayer was pretty boring, gameplaywise, but had a pretty solid story. Multiplayer is basically SC1 in three dimensions with new units. Gameplay feels the same as it did in SC/Brood Wars. All in all, if you enjoyed the first round, give it a go.

I just don't think multiplayer as it is right now is going to be very fun for 3 years without any additions while we wait for the SP campaign to come out.

What will the expansions bring to the MP? I though the MP part of the game was supposed to be full?

Each expansion will probably bring a new unit that will make the race who's campaign is featured in it the most overpowered.

Welp, my friend can't play the game on his computer so I don't have any IRL friends to play with and most of my online friends are from outside of the USA so I can't play them because blizzard doesn't want that. Feels a lot like WC3 because I have no friends playing it at the moment and have to pubby that shit out.

I've bought Victoria II and I've played Starcraft II on a friend's computer, and I can safely say I think Victoria II is better.

Edit: Just saw Dennies post. It is fucking retarded to compare the two. But as a paradox fanboy I'm kind of inclined to agree. I waited for 10 years for a new victoria, and its been great so far. My only problems are minor tweaks that will hopefully be fixed in future patches. One example is me having 75% of the population of indonesia being dutch by 1860. Does not compute.
