They should be dirty, dirty cheap by this point, so sure, why not. I never played any but the first, and it's hardly awe inspiring, but it was a solid shooter. Nothing like it was advertised, but a good setting with the typical restrictive gameplay.

So i finally have a computer that can play clear sky, should I play it regular or should I get that complete patch thing.

Patch it and only play it on the master setting with no crosshairs. That way you get the full experience.

While I can only vouch for the quality of the predecessor - I've heard that this is a reasonably well implemented mod. To be fair though, I've stuck with the first and the third (and modifications thereof) for a very good reason : the second is (comparatively) Not Very Good. Mostly due to things not easily amended by the e'er dedicated OCD neckbeards of The Future.

Clear Sky Complete is a good mod, I recommend it. They're making Call of Pripyat Complete, but they've taken the summer off so it should be resuming next month or so.
