But why would anyone want to do this when they could simply not play Fallout 3, and play Diablo 2 instead ? :?

Because the engine fallout 3 uses is different from diablo 2's. thus different gameplay?

But why do you not attempt to conjure something new, instead of a reimagining of an insipid area from an insipid game for an entirely different insipid game ? :?

Because. it's kinda like the game of basketball. you have to learn the basics before you can create your own tricks.

It is obvious you guys are a bunch of old useless farts who pretend to be assholes on the internet. the only thing that binds you together is your love for age old games that your too afraid to let go of. up until this point i have been very fair and calm but enough is enough. the only thing respectable about you halfwitts is that you defend the fallout series with a passion. but guess what? that postive aspect of you is completely eradicated due to your nonsense bullying. i am editing out my topic to be void and empty like your insignificant forums. it should fit well.

I thought we had a whole team set up for the project from what we were talking in IRC about. Also it's supposed to be called "Diablo: A Fallout Story" and I'm going to be the game director.

Isn't that a bit ironic since you're trying to impliment an "age old" game into a newer one? I think you're misunderstanding the criticisms. They're telling you that you should make something original and new that will improve the game - not just turn it into Oblivion with swords and DIABLO.
