what's your fav bit of Fo3?

Since Bethesda decided to make Fallout 3, we figured we might as well have a forum about it.

Jesus... V, her nipples are lactating. Nut the hell up, son.

In all seriousness, I'd say I liked the environments. There were a couple places that were less than satisfactory, and many that had complications as far as bugs and glitches go, but for the most part, the vast and detailed world is my favorite part of Fallout 3.

What pisses me off most, though, is the fact that with only two or three exceptions, they completely did away with the original aesthetics. Matterafact, I think that's what sealed their death sentence among fallout fans. Had they maintained it beyond just the T-51b and a couple enemies, Beth'd probably have a massive boost in their appeal.

I liked the expanded functionality of Repair, but disliked how it was practically restricted to just repairing guns (no repairing random gens to turn lights on, etc). Apart from that, not a whole lot. The entire experience was a dull bland affair and it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I think the only thing I could truthfully say that I liked was maybe the exploring and finding new places. If I go any further than that then I would find a ton of flaws in everything. I sadly can't think of any aspect other than that in the game that wasn't full of faults.

The most satisfying experience I had in the game was when mercs at Fort Bannister killed Dogmeat, so I took it upon myself to avenge him by killing every last one of them. It was good because Talon mercs don't rip off things from the previous games poorly and because I didn't need to be subjected to any of the terrible dialog.

What ruined, however, was the lack of a cover system similar to GTA IV.

I whole-heartedly agree with Manoil here. The enviroment and most of the art in game were pretty delicious. That's why the screenshots got me so interested back in the hyping phase.

my fav bit is people who played it and are trying to find excuses for doing so, like "i have a dick in my ass and you have to put it in your mind that this isnt a fallout game so you can enjoy it".
