Guess it depends on your rig cause it did a lot of good on mine. The whole game runs fine except near the end, when the town's on fire.

I cant believe I missed this game when it came out.

Purchased a digital version of the enhanced witcher game. I see though, this was the time I was working 12h a day for a year so.. that might be the reason.

Cool game so far.. kind of tired of killing dogs and drowners though.

It kind of got a lot of flack in some places like Darkunderlord but then there are a lot of people who liked it a lot.

Did you play the normal version or the enhanced? Appearently the differance between the two makes it better.

The enhanced is literally 'enhanced' - so it's not exactly a completely different game or anything. There are some additional things like quests and items as far as I know, but the main idea of the game hasn't changed. And you whether like it or not, it's pretty original, sure, but then again it gets repetitive/boring quite fast in my opinion.

over 200 new animations,
additional NPC models and recoloring of generic NPC models as well as monsters,
vastly expanded and corrected dialogues in translated versions,
improved stability,
redesigned inventory system and
load times reduced by roughly 80%.
all bugs are said to be fixed and
the game manual completely overhauled.
two new adventures available to play through: Side Effects and The Price of Neutrality.
A new option is to mix and match ten different languages of voice and subtitles.

Hey, wow, I got it right this time! Good for me.

As said, the main game (the core) isn't any different. Just 'enhanced'.

Looks interesting, I just hope they don't do what every RPG does these day, stick a really really *really* shitty dungeon (BMC, Deep Roads, Swamp, etc) that burns me out on a 2nd play through

It seems very juvenile.

The controls are fucked up, but I guess I'll get used to them.

Graphics are about average.

There is an alienness to the look and feel of the game.

Kinda good and kinda bad.

Shit that happens in real time needs to have totally responsive controls and excellent camera movement.

I hope combat won't be like in Gothic 2.

(I've only been in the beginning fight. Just button mashed it.)

I like many of the concepts here, but I don't know if the actual game is going to be very good.

I'll elaborate on that later.
What I LOVE about gothic 1 and 2 is that, firstly, it's SOOO hard when you start. Even a minor creature will fuck you if you don't know how to fight it (+ some luck), but at the end, you will rape!

Rpg is alot about being a hero, and the development from nothing to hero is the fun part.

Also, the quests are fun and interesting IMO!
I have played both many times :)

(oo, guess I am a bit off topic. Sorry about that.)
