A lot of stuff that you wouldn't realise. Cosmetics, lubricants, medicines, plastics, etc. - all made from petroleum byproducts.

Actually, quite a few hydraulic fluids nowadays are made with silicone as a base,and don't forget what the russians use...GRAIN ALCOHOL.
