Talps is a rearangement of slapt, which is a corruption of slapped.

He should be, I feel. Many times if possible.

Well, I agree that the spelling isn't very good realy, its along the lines of the "Kwikie Mart" school of thought. But that does suit our friend quite well, I think. :-)

This is becoming like that SE in FO2 "Unwashed villagers hunting a spammer"

Too bad we can't actually kill him.

BTW glad to see that I wasn't the only one feeling that way about our dear Talps.

And that respected thing in the other topic well, that was something. Real irony.

I dunno man, a bozar at close range with high big guns skill can make a big mess of someone. also a shotgun, or even an aimed shot with a gauss rifle right in the groin.

But Unwashed was in FO2...

I just look at the fight or help to kill the spammer and then collect the stims from the locker.

Yep, it's in Fo2.

I just saw righ toutside Den yesterday. Didn't help to kill the spammer, though, Sulik and I were busy looting those stims and when I got them, a villager shot the spammer with a critical.
They did invite me to join many times
" Join us Chosen One "

And I almost went. Next time I'll join them, no matter how much bad karma comes from it (well I believe it is only -10 to karma if you kill the spammer), and think him as Talps. Targeted hits...gonna make him crawl...critical to the eye with my sharpened spear to him how much better melee is that unarmed

That encounter gets a whole new meaning now :D
I just kinda liked it for the stims in a locker in one of the buildings around. Not that it makes much difference, I always have 100+ stims when I finish the game.

A bit of Fallout history.

The UV was created on the original Interplay Fallout 1 boards. Originally, the fumblebutt they were fighting against was Dr. Atomiq. Later, that fellow was replaced by GRIM REAPER, or to use the nickname that I coined and he used for a while, GOAT RAPER, GIMP RAPER, GIMP ROPER, etc. Later came quite a few others.

There was some easter eggs specifically tailored in for people in the UV. Hendee was a great guy, I'll just say that. Those were perhaps some of the least-lame easter eggs put in. He spent as much time as he could on the Fo2 boards dealing with a lot of various stuff, mostly game help and tech support. The UV encounter was one of the easter eggs put in, and a few friends are characters there. Night Own and Buffy, in particular.

Here's a relatively little-known easter egg you can use. Start a female character, age doesn't matter. Use the name "Buffy". Once you get to Becca's place, she will give you some stuff, but I think you might need leather armor or a leather jacket in order to get it. Might not. Buffy and Becca are the same person in the UV.

No, that'd be highly irrelevent to a discussion of Fallout 2.
