Anything good about it?
Alright, so there were one or two things I did not mind seeing in The Article.
(1) I liked the idea of being able to get a bot to do your dirty business for you, although the way it sounds like it was done was a bit too simple for me.
(2) I don't hate the perspective BS will be using; it's sorta neat. I would have preferred a farther third-person perspective viewpoint, but I understand the logic behind the chosen viewpoint.
(3) I think that the "gun errosion" is a good idea. Shit breaks, learn how to fix it. It's a perfect opportunity to develop a "science" or "repair" skill.
(4) In all honestly, now that I think back on the character models for the super-mutants in FO1/2, the BS version is actually consistent with those models I think... more so than the talking heads we saw in the aforementioned games.
Um... that's about it.

I like that they seem to be implementing radiation properly. Unless, of course, they let you drink from a toilet to make it go away.
'Dogmeat' is back, which is all to the good. He might be a poodle though.
Gun erosion could be good if it isn't just a cheap excuse to upgrade to the latest uber weapon you find lying on the ground.
9-12 endings certainly has potential.
Most Xp coming from quests could be a good thing.
But I'm mostly lying to myself.

I`m gonna totally play it as a FPS, but they try to make it like a RPG, while it is a FPS, so fuck, you can`t even play it as a FPS, you need to play it as FPS/RPG, slow movement, fucked up aiming system, you can`t hit shit. :Morrowind like: And then this fucking pause function, which OH SHIT I HEAR THE ICE CREAM TRUCK!!!!!111!1111oneone wants to pause in a FPS? Todd. Then those dumb rag doll physics, which is just a way to spare costs on animations and then to say: "Lulz, but its teh correct real PHYSIX!!" In game magazine, you read such shit like: realistic physics. THe RPG part? Every fucking aspect is dumbed down at Bethesda RPG`s.

The urban setting is great. Lots more possibilities.S4ur0n27 wrote:Yeah, let's replace tribal shit with negro cowboys.
I dunno, I like the fact they kept the blue suit, I like Ron Perlman, and I like that it's gonna take place, it seems, in an urban area.
You know, I'm actually surprised they are even bothering to have Ron Perlman do the voice thing. Why should they care, since they were going to "reinvent" everything anyway?
Death to quotes.
I was surprised, too, since they also hired Liam Neeson(who's not bad, IMHO), and after reading KoC latest news post, I'm even more surprised they bothered.TelemachusSneezed wrote:The urban setting is great. Lots more possibilities.S4ur0n27 wrote:Yeah, let's replace tribal shit with negro cowboys.
