I don't have a problem with god ( I call him Larry) but I do have a problem with "spreading the word of god" and "in god's name" as a excuse to force some beliefs down someone's throat. I sorry when I say Christian I mean cathoilic most of the time. Easier to spell for one thing and... I too tired to have this argument right now.

Really guys, arguing about faith is stupid, so by extension everything included under arguing about faith(defending or attacking either side) is stupid.

Nothing can be proved, one way or another. Hence, you have no facts, which are the essential basis of any good argument. Really, all it turns in to is a yelling match.

I think the reason sex makes a negitive reaction in general is because its often 'forced' or not necessary. A majority of movies out there that have sex scenes, nudity, etc. only put it in for eye candy. Its pointless.

Action is needed. Take the new spiderman movie for example. Where would it be without action?

Scene: two people kissing wildly, starting shed their clothes off. They close the door behind them. Movie cuts out. Returns showing them in bed sleeping or talking, whatever (just like in FO!)-We know what happened, why show more?

Scene 2: A good guy meets the bag guy. Movie cuts out and returns with bad guy laying on the floor dead while the good guy has his arm ripped off. What happened? We do not know.

Action keeps a movie going.
Sex does not, unless its porn, or really has a really important role.

What was that soft porn movie with that Jolie girl and Antonio? Bombed by the critics bombed by the viewers. Bombed in the boxoffice.

I dont mind sex, but porn is still the best way to use it.

Personally I don't mind seeing two people mingling on the bed, as long as they are not really showing the "thing" and they shot it artistically. You know, sex and porn are different. Showing sex's fine, but show porn is for porn movie only.

I don't mind whether the game has sex in it or not. To be frank i never noticed the first time i played it (actually come to think of it i only noticed recently, too involved with the shooty stuff :oops:)
So long as it does not distract or dectract or deviate the course of the game, who cares? It's a bunch of pixels. The age rating on the side of the box should be enough to keep away people who would be offended (not to mention the fact that on the box is a mention that you can "pimp your bitch"). Just pray the sequel tones it down, number 2 was a bit seedy.

quite frankly i find this topic quite stupid...

the FO series was desinged to show the harsh realities of life, especially their veiw of what the world would look like after nuclear war (if anyone survived)....

included in this reality are most things... this is why the game must have such a high rating and have sex an violence ect.

the main reason (i think) most people play the FO series is because of its view on life an the amount of truthit has in it (not to mention the brilliant story line and many jobs/quests)

basically if you don't like an aspect of a game why bother complaining about it and just don't play it...

eg: don't like sex, violence ect. in a game, don't play the FO series because it probably isn't your type of game...

Hmmm... Well I would have thought that the graphic act of two (real) people doing the nasty on a porno flick would have been classed differently from a few pixellated sprites wandering around a screen, and alluding to sex ('cos thats all they can do) with a fade to black every time they supposedly do "it".
The porn tape is not a bunch of pixels until it is on the screen. Before that there were actors and actresses involved. Sprites are pixels, flat images, no more, no less, and therefore hard to get offended about, unless you have too much time on your hands.

Porn tape isn't pixels before it's on the screen? I know what you mean, really - I do, but basically there could've been an act of sex involved when this animator drew those pixels in FO2... Either by fucking someone or watching others.

And yes, there aren't any nude characters and shit in Fo2, true true, but I'm talking about so called "Cyber Sex" in general.

What I'm trying to say is that a drawn/animated picture should be classified the same way as a *real* piece of porn. Because in the end they've been created from a sum of pixels with different kinds of colors and if you rotate, switch and twist them there's nothing "porny" left.

Don't get me wrong, Jimbo, I agree with you. But like I said, that figure of speech caught me. Try to be more careful next time
