Duck and Cover

In all the fixes for the bugs it says go into your system folder, then do this... but i cant find the system folder or any other files they list to modify ? Please Help.

Thats the defualt location

ohh.hmm..i get to there but cant find any of the files they say(like the mapper2). ?

What is the EXACT name of the file in question ?

Did you do a full install of the game ?

To fix this problem change the mapper2.cfg file's [system] section to the following:

[system]
critter_dat=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\critter.dat
critter_patches=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\data
master_dat=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\master.dat
master_patches=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\data

Where H:\ is the letter of your HD, and Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\ is the path to the editor. You should manually locate your executable/data files and change the path accordingly

This may sound like a stupid question, but as I don't know you or your depth of knowledge of you OS, I will ask.

Did you enter the file paths exactly as listed?

Did you enter the file paths without the preface?

omfg...when i moved Master.dat i moved the entire folder/ now when i took it out and just put it in the system folder it works perfect

..i feel like such a newb
