switching fallout 2 language versions...

Hi guys, I remember last time I played fallout2 it was in english, but now that I'm trying to reinstall I only get the german version, which sucks a lot (since text is so important in this game and so is humour).

Now I have no idea how I got that to work last time, I've tried installing the US patch but I don't think that works.

I was wondering if there was a way to mod the game, replace the text and speech files with the english ones.

I was also wondering if someone could help me with that, tell me how to do it and possibly send me the english language files etc.
