Check out Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Brian Setzer (new), some of the classics... I am not sure if it is pure swing, jazz, boogie or what, but it all sounds similar. Jazz might be a little slower though.

Amen. I like Louie and Duke and all that, but they're hardly swing I guess. I haven't heard new Brian Setzer but I hear its big band?

Also if you know any "modern" rockabilly (or whatever) a'la Kings of Nuthin', I'd like to hear about it, too.

Brian Setzer Orchestra does swing, his cd's are pretty listenable generally speaking so I guess I suggest him.

Edit: Also - Cherry Poppin Daddies also apperently do swing. I remember "Zoot Suit Riot" being popular when I was in middle school.

Swing, IDM...y'all are stuck in the '90s.

Brian Setzer is kind of a swing-big-band-rock hybrid, but he's even recorded merengue standards, so whatever. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy were kind of a fluke, weren't they?

Brian Setzer is a mixed bag, he has alot of swing songs, alot of 50's-esque rock songs, and big band songs. If you enjoy all 3, he's your man though, especially since all 3 genres sound pretty similar from most listerners standpoints.
