Fallout 3 Interview Questions

Once Bethesda is ready to talk, we're obviously going to want to do a ton of interviews and things with them. I figured we might as well get started with the pre-interview planning, so use this thread to post questions that you would like to see in a DAC interview with the Bethsoft team.

Please, only post questions in this thread. If you feel the need to make a comment on something, make a different thread. Also, only post serious questions. Thanks.

Other than the name, what other similarities can we look forward to?

I think you could ask about some of the possible Oblivionisms, like if there are minigames or factions you can join and work for.

What skills they've added/removed/revamped? Will they release modding tools? Special encounters/easter eggs?

As for a personal opinion(assuming you're talking to PR Pete), what does he think Fallout lacked or fell short of.

Ask if any fallout characters will make a return.
and when are they going to make Fallout into a movie.

When can we expect screenshots?

Since it obviously won't be turn-based, how will you kill people? :explode:

Basic storyline?

Will SPECIAL be kept intact or will they alter it?

edit: SPECIAL intact means (to me) not ONLY the Strength Perception etc, but also how the rest of the game mechanics interacts with them and such.

Will there be a BLOODY MESS option? :explode:
Can you enlist travelling companions?
What's the setting?

Will Ron Pearlman still be providing voice acting of any sort?

Will the game be real time or turn based? If real time, how will SPECIAL be implimented if it is implimented at all?

FPP or isometric?
Real time or Turn Based?
What ESBR rating are you aiming for?
Are you not afraid of the rabid Fallout community? Did you hire any Security company?
Will it be HAVOC'd?
Will some features of Oblivion("Radiant AI", "Mysterious Force", "Dynamic Difficulty") be implemented?
How will dialogue system look like?
Will the game be as big as Daggerfall or as small as Oblivion?
Details on the plot/timeline?
Any word of the technology level? Cars? Or you will be able to ride a Brahmin?

Are we going to see any of this:

________________________________________

You have killed an esssential game character.
Now yous can't beat the game. HA! HA! HA!
________________________________________

Or this:

Blowjob The Elfer is unconscious.

Specifically, is the dialogue strand involving "10mm justice," and the dispensation thereof, ever going to make it into ES:FO? In a broader and much more serious sense, what I mean is, what kinds of "wows" will they have for us with regards to dialogue? Surely, they must know dialogue is their weakness, one of many methinks, and they should have all kinds of new and exciting scripting and mapping to show off.

Microsoft Game Plan

Microsoft Game Plan

If I understand the work ethic at Bethesda,
it's to publish a playable beta,
and patronize the consumers of the games by allowing them to modify this demo into a playable game.
This appears to be a profitable game plan for Micro-soft and Bethesda - Zinemax.

1) When Beth's FO 3 is on the shelves, will there be a playable game included?

2) How many weeks before a mod will guarantee a playable game?

3) Will there be enough resources after the PR blitz to float an official Beth patch?

4) Has Bethesda ever employed the services of Babel Media, or has it ever out sourced PR to amateur ""native guerillas""
to infiltrate game fan sites, and to troll and proselytize for the beta ware that Bethesda publishes?

will it be possible to play as an evil character? I mean, can I walk up to a random kid and blow his/her head off? will there even be kids?
Will there be some kind of "underground" like in the hub in Fallout where I could be hired as a hitman or join a thieving guild, and actually gain experience points without beeing the normal idiotic do-gooder we see in every other fucking game around?
will there be hairy deathclaws?
will you pay attention to fallout tictacs art? (if the answer is yes you deserve to die a horrible death by choking on one of those big fleshlumps of supermutants' cokc(s))
Will you make a Fallout game or will you fuck up like most of us expect?

I dont even HAVE an Apple II anymore!!

Will Billy rescue the trapped radscorpion only to be betrayed with a quick, poisonous jab between the eyes?

(( I wager you meant "Will there be plot twists?" ))
