yes, stupid mapper! I made a raider outpost in the arroyo gardens and saved it. it said cannot save items in map! or something like that then i start a new game and when my Char. goes to the gardens the screen is all black, nothing! so i try to edit the gardens on the editor and guess what its black as well so i uninstall the mapper, then i uninstall FO2 then re install it and start a new char. walk to the gardens and the screens still black! its getting me so pissed off!!!! help please!!!

When you unistalled FO2 did you delete the folders as well? If not then your new map is probably still there IIRC.

Go into your Fallout directory then into data and then delete the contents of the "map" folder, probably under C:\Program Files\BlackIsle\Fallout2\data\maps

Maps in this folder override maps in the master.dat file, so you won't be deleting all the FO2 maps, just ones which you have made.

I can't explain what caused the original problem, I'm not particularly experianced with the mapper.
