Anyone remember the fic Toys in the Hall?

Got great hand-eye coordination? Here's the place to show it off. You can also upload your work (images, audio, and video) and view our fan art gallery (currently defunct, bug forum management to fix it).
This is also the forum for all of you blossoming Camus' to exercise your brain power by writing and posting fan fiction.

Anyone remember the fic Toys in the Hall?

Post by Icelandic_Boy »

Gosh, I remember reading it nearly 2 years ago, if not more...

Anyway, its a really great fic about the aftermath of Fallout 1, only, it looks like despite loosing The Master and the Vats, the Mutant Army is far from beeing defeated.

Does anyone know if the guy who wrote the stuff has wrote more or plans on writing more?

Last I heard, the guy who wrote that thing went insane. He had the entire fanfic tattooed onto his back and ran off shirtless into the wilderness, saying he was going to "tell his tales to the trees and the sky." Sometimes, I like to think he's still out there, yelling obscenities at rocks.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Why doesn't DAC have an entire forum devoted to 4too?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Was this story ever finished by Lockout?

If so, anybody know where I can find the rest?

And writing. And writing...and writing. Confused

And finally making some progress, I'll add. I didn't intend to hold the story up for this long. However, I ran into a nasty bug that slowed me down for a while. Also, TITH is a work-in-progress, meaning I work on it when I can, and that it is subject to a slew of rewrites (which are now done. Hopefully).

Anyway, I'm back to banging away on the keyboard and banging my head on the table. (Nevermind the latter...it's an odd form of inspiration). Expect to see an update very soon.

And thanks for asking, Jacen.

Sorry for reviving this tread, but something just hit me whilst re-reading toys in the Hall, It's about the same character as in The Marshall plan!!!

So I looked it up, and indeed, you wrote that as well. Shocked

That story had the best discription I've ever read of leaving the vault ...

Great work Lockout.

The Marshall Plan?!

Gosh, Jacen...that was a while back.

I didn't think anyone remembered that laborsome ditty, and based on the number of comments I got from it (one, if I remember correctly), I didn't think anyone had read it. Laughing

But you did...and thank you for your kind words. Oh...and I've sent the latest update of TITH to Elara. Assuming she is her usual efficient self, it should be up and downloadable in no time. Hope you enjoy it.

See, this is exactly why I got stuck in the first place. I ask a question, and boom; you guys start talking about something else entirely. Its really annoying.

If you DONT know anything about Toys in the Halls, where I can read it again or something, then DONT POST nonsense.

Please.
