Seems as good a place as any to ask...

How long is Thick as a Brick supposed to be? The version I have is about 40 minutes, but I'm afraid I'm missing some of it.

Forty-four minutes and however many seconds. If you downloaded it, then I suppose it's not unimaginable that a minute or two has been shaved off somewhere.

I was never a big fan of Heavy Horses D: Or any Tull made after 1975, for that matter.

The two sides of Thick As A Brick, together, are 43 minutes and 48 seconds. That's the "official" version. There's also single versions that are about four and ten minutes long. The end. I know a lot.

On the whole, I suppose I agree with you, but I love Songs from the Wood and Heavy Horses just as much as Benefit or Aqualung.

Maybe you could just stop being a pansy, and just buy it Spazmo.

Or else your entire life would be "omg is this the real version?".

I already have too many things to waste my money on. Still, Thick as a Brick is one of the rare album purchases I could justify.

My Thick as a Brick CD cost me $30. Lousy price-gouging capitalists at Sunrise Music.

I'd buy Thick as a Brick on vinyl, as it comes with a full 8-page newspaper insert, which is really quite a swell and hilarious read.

Do you use soulseek?

I do. One day, my mom came back from walking the dog and told my brother and I she'd found a stack of old records in someone's trash and it was a bunch of shit from Megadeth and Judas (rockin') Priest.

Hey, Atoga, you should consider buying stuff from my local record store as they just went global with a new website. (http://www.psychprog.com)

I'm not sure it works yet, and I'm not sure the entire catalog is there, but it would be soon anyway.

They seem to have a selection that appeals to me. That is, lots of Yes.

Lots of folks. Myself, for one. It's not as though no one produces them anymore; Sony makes some nice ones, actually, and you can buy some very slick systems that combine CD, cassette, vinyl, and radio.

Why in the hell was the album thirty bucks? Is this Sunrise Music place comparable to Tower or Sam Goody, if you're familiar with those two detestable institutions? Incidentally, it was no more than ten or twelve dollars at Best Buy.

Looks pretty good, though I'm not interested in buying CDs. I deal exclusively in vinyl D:
